This course focuses on the concepts, principles, resource requirements and safety and legal issues surrounding the application of different culture and research techniques used in the salmonid aquaculture industry. Techniques discussed will include: broodstock handling and spawning, egg fertilization and laydown, egg incubation, egg shocking and transport, hatch and care of sac-fry, transportation of fish.
