This course explores the relations between people and their physical and social environments. It examines the influence of space on human behavior and the design of homes, work areas, educational settings, and urban environments. Specific topics include environmental contributors to psychopathology, the interaction between human behavior and toxins, habitat destruction/species extinction, exhaustion of fossil fuels, and climate change. Prerequisite: Psych 100B.
