This course continues the elements of communication design in a more professional context. Students advance their understanding of concept development and visual execution. They also examine contemporary professional work in the field and are introduced to the business of the profession, including working with clients. Course work integrates fundamental design skills with business presentations and team-based projects. The final course assignment comes from an external firm. Students work in groups and make a professional presentation to the client.
