Artists, for centuries, have come to Florence to study its art, architecture, and cultural artifacts. This course is designed to help students locate themselves within the history of art and ideas that still resonate in the museums, churches, and streets of Florence. Students draw, in a number of ways and mediums, as a way of paying homage to a social, cultural, and art historical lineage.
