This course is an introduction to library and research skills with an emphasis on the use of new technologies and resources in the development of a research project. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in applying college-level research techniques through a variety of instructional strategies, and a critical evaluation of print, Word Wide Web, and online sources will be emphasized. Legal and social issues related to the world of information will be explored. 3 hours lecture. Prerequisites: DSPW 0800, DSPR 0800.
