(Prerequisites: DSPR 0700, DSPW 0700) The study of the scientific principles applied to the apprehension of criminal offenders through evidence gathering, protection of the crime scene, suspect identification and establishing the corpus delicti of the crime. A hands on approach to the processing of simulated crime scene evidence valuable to both corrections and law enforcement. 3 hours lecture.
