Topics include safety, network terminology and protocols, network standards, LANs, WANs, OSI models, cabling, cabling tools, routers, router programming, star topology, IP addressing, use of networking software, tools, and equipment, and all local, state, and federal safety, building, and environmental codes and regulations. 2 hours lecture, 2 hours laboratory.
