Description:

(Basic Concepts and Current Devices) Process control systems can operate accurately and dependably only if the engineers, operators and instrument technicians understand how and why the individual measuring devices function. This course will present the theory and practice of industrial measurements and examine how the various sensing and measuring trans- ducers function while monitoring the industrial variables of pressure, temperature level and flow. The principles of basic automatic process controls also will be examined. Five ISA manuals-one for each subject are included in the tuition.
