Description:

This course begins with sketching, constraining and dimensioning parts, then editing sketched features and building assemblies. It covers placed features (filets, threads, shells) generating drawing views, adding splines and ribs, examines weldments and sheet metal for those interested, touches on part design automation, and will briefly examine AutoCad 3-D development for those interested. AutoCad or Mechanical Desktop experience is not required, but the course does require some basic design background. Required text.
