This is a one-semester course which will study the problems of youth. The course will concentrate on the detection, prevention, control, and processes of rehabilitation of delinquents. The Juvenile Court system with its substantive rules and procedures as well as area protective services will be discussed. Also included will be the special problem of drug usage by youths. Prerequisite: Principles of Sociology (SOCI104) or Departmental Approval
