(Real Estate License Renewal Course) This seminar is State approved and satisfies two hours of the twelve hours required under the Real Estate Continuing Education Law. The lead paint law has both State and Federal Law Requirements and is the most misunderstood law affecting property owners and real estate professionals. Topics and materials covered include: The history, Federal and State Law requirements for disclosure and timing of disclosure, Buyer and/or Tenant's right to inspect. Penalties for Non- compliance with Lead Law for Sellers. Landlords and Real Estate agents, Compliance for Real Estate Brokers and Sales persons, Transfer Notification Form, Tenant Notification Form and the Short-term Vacation Rental Exemption Notification Form, risk assessment, Letter of Interim Control and Letter of Compliance Liability Issues and Review. Important relevant Cases, Statutes, Regulations and Forms will be discussed and interpreted.
