Conflict occurs when individuals or groups are not obtaining what they need or want and are seeking their own self- interest. Although conflict is inevitable, it can be minimized, diverted or resolved. This is where your leadership skills come into play. In this session you will learn the fundamentals of conflict, identify blocks to resolving conflict, examine ineffective ways of managing conflict and explore ways to analyze conflict. Most importantly you will learn why, as a leader, you play a key role in managing conflict.
