This course is also designed for non-science transfer students. It is a survey of the central ideas of physics and their applications to everyday situations. Emphasis is on qualitative understanding of concepts and theories. Weekly laboratory experiments demonstrate and reinforce the class topics. Survey of Chemistry (CHEM131) is not a prerequisite.
