Bridge is a group acticity for all ages! In a sociable atmosphere, the game puts you in action, matching skill and judgment as one member of a two-player team. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, and whether you do or don't have a partner, this course is for you! The American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) publishes a series of Bridge Books, and this course concentrates on the first one- Bidding (The Language of Bridge). Topics covered are the golden rule, how to count a hand, and the roles of partners and responders, as well as play of the hand and defense. Book required, approximately $15.
