Description:

This is the second course in a two-semester sequence of intermediate algebra and trigonometry with technical applications. Topics include oblique triangles, graphs of sinusoidal functions, a review of linear and quadratic equations, complex numbers, number bases, inequalities, exponents, exponential and logarithmic functions, proportions and variation, statistics, and an introduction to calculus. The scientific calculator and a CAS computer software package will be used throughout the course. Prerequisite: Telecommunications Technical Mathematics I (MATH143) Corequisite: Enrollment in Verizon Next Step Program
