Basic I - American Sign Language is the third most used language in the United States. ASL is a vital tool for educators, medical personnel, EMTs, police, public employees early childhood staff and service/support providers. This course introduces the basic structure, concepts and applications of sign language. Independent study is required and videotaping will be utilized.
