This course attempts to help the student to understand the motivation of arsonists and the methods they use to set fires. The proper approach to arson investigation, correct procedure for fire scene examination, proper methods to secure and preserve evidence, and proper methods for court presentation are also studied. The laws and regulations dealing with arson are also discussed. Prerequisite: Fire Cause Detection (FIRE111)
