Are you in control of your money or is it controlling you? If your finances are out of control, look no further. This is the course for you. Becoming Money Smart provides valuable information to assist you in improving your finances. It concentrates on understanding credit and making it work to your advantage; understanding your credit report; creating and improving your household budget; and a reveiw of banking services to help you shop and compare checking and savings accounts, ATM's, debit cards and loans. This course is designed to help you achieve financial empowerment, and start progressing towards those dreams of homeownership and/or building wealth. This course consists of five classes instructed by experienced banking and homeownership professionals. Is is based upon the FDCI Money Smart Curriculum. Student guide books and materials provided.
