Description:
This course studies components and circuits which depend on the movement and manipulation of confined fluids, either liquids or gases, when used to drive and control automated industrial equipment. The student moves from basic theory and the simple hydraulic and pneumatic circuits to the more complex systems including electrical and mechanical activation of control devices. Industrial controls are set up on the laboratory table, tested and evaluated. Lecture: 2 hours Laboratory: 2 hours
