A survey of current and emerging technologies in telecommunications will be presented. A review of interrelationships of telecommunications technology in data communications, multiplexing, LANs and WAN will be included. Lectures, demonstrations, laboratory exercises using current techniques, guest speakers, and seminars will be employed.
