The student learns the function of internal registers and control inputs for microprocessors. How the microprocessor may be interfaced with other parts of a digital system is emphasized. The student gains understanding of a microprocessor's instruction set by writing actual programs. Digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital conversion techniques are included.
