This course is designed to improve student preformance on the high school level Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) - English Language Arts-test. The learning standards from the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks will be used in order to prepare students for the Composition and Open Response sections of the MCAS English Language Arts test. The focus is on preparing tenth graders, but is open and helpful for eleventh and twelfth grade retakers as well. All materials are supplied.
