This remedial course is designed for high school students who are in a "college" or "academic" type mathematics seq- uence at their high schools, and who have completed a high school Algebra II course achieving a minimum numerical grade of 50%. Topics such as linear relationships and functions, matrices, linear systems, quadratic equations, and poly- nomials will be presented, along with all other materials necessary for an in-depth understanding of high school Algebra II. Students should receive a referral from their high schools and additional assurance that a passing grade will be accepted by their high schools. Text required.
