Description:

This 48-hour course is designed to prepare students for the GED Test. PLATO software is available in the class- room to allow students to progress at their own rates. Instructional emphasis is on English language and reading skills, as well as mathematics and use of the GED test- specific calculator. The course is a fast review, not designed to address needs for in-depth ESOL or ABE instruction. Before registering, a pre-assessment is required. The pre- assessment sessions are offered on a walk-in basis, Student Center/Brockton campus (Room SC182), starting promptly at 5:30PM, on the dates listed on the Course Charts printed at the beginning of this section
