Prepare for a new career in the field of health! This ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course is designed for individuals who work or wish to work in health-related careers. The focus is on improving English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) through lessons designed around medical terminology and understanding health workplace conversation. Medical root words, plus their prefixes and suffixes, will be taught with real life applications to a medical setting. Text and dictionary required. Potential students must have a rudimentary ability to communicate in English, and must take a pre-assessment before registering for the course.
