Description:

This course will offer classroom Paraprofessionals an opportunity to develop skills that will enable them to assist teachers in meeting the current federal, state and local requirements and standards. Topics will include an assessment of traditional and contemporary media, learning technologies, and integration of computers in the classroom. Learners will also develop skill in identifying equipment uses, setup and maintenance. Prerequisites: Engl092 or waiver based on test results or by permission of the Department.
