Description:
Mediation has proved to be a successful method of resolving a wide variety of interpersonal conflicts in the community ranging from neighborhood disputes to civil and criminal matters. This course will offer students comprehensive "hands-on" training which will explore all aspects of the mediation process. Students will be involved in presentations, interactive skill-building exercises, group discussions, and role-playing. Prerequisite: Preparing for College Reading II (ENGL092) or waiver by placement testing results or Departmental Approval
