This course introduces the student to the study of domestic and transnational terrorism. It will focus on this unique form of organizational crime and its implications for the American criminal justice system. The course will pay special attention to the shift in emphasis of the American criminal justice system as well as the new hierarchy of priorities assigned to the various federal, state, and local agencies.
