Open only to Computer Information Systems majors in their last semester of study, this course will cover areas of current importance in the information technologies field. Topics covered will include a variety of technology-related current issues students entering the IT field may encounter. The class meets once weekly and is conducted in seminar format and requires extensive class discussion utilizing timely articles and Internet searches. A project or paper on a relevant topic is required. Prerequisite: Computer Ethics and Internet Law (CTIM164) Pre/Corequisite: Data Communication (CTIM278)
