This course will focus on planning and organizing programs which are developmentally appropriate for school age child care. Emphasis will be on a variety of content areas including creative and recreational activities, study skills development and socialization. Students will be able to apply developmentally appropriate principles to the design of the physical and social environment as well as create and implement activity plans. Prerequisite: School Age Child Care (CCED212)
