Description:

In this course, participants design and layout interior rooms utilizing blueprints. Basic blueprinting skills are taught as they relate to the field of interior design. Scaling and problem-solving skills are utilized to resolve challenging space configurations. Students learn the elements of layout, such as furniture size and placement, as traffic patterns. The instructor gives hands-on real-life scenarios, and students, using learned design and blueprint concepts, present design solutions. As a final project, participants produce a presentation board - designing a complete room, using all learned skills in layout, furniture, color and fabric.
