Description:
The purpose of this course is to study human behavior in organizations at the individual and group level. Lectures and discussions include the effect of organization structure on behavior. Specific attention is given to using concepts for developing and improving interpersonal skills. The course concentrates on motivation, communication, influence, power, group decision processes, leadership, conflict, change, cultural systems, and perception. Management techniques such as team development are also explored in order to improve the management of people.
