Ever dreamed of making a film? This course will launch you on your way to turning that dream into reality. Learn the art, business and craft of independent filmmaking. You will be taught the basics of making a long or short feature film and/or a documentary, learn how to write a proposal or treatment, how to hire and work with a crew; how to create a budget, and where to seek funding. We will discuss editing, music, and special effects. Also, who will see your film? Learn about broadcast venues and the film festival market. In this information-packed course, you will receive individual attention and will be given extensive resources to turn your idea into an actual film! Class limited to 10.
