Become a Faux Artist! Learn how to add color, design, and texture to plain walls by utilizing faux painting techniques. Open to those with little or no experience, this class presents an opportunity to learn new skills, while exploring the faux finishing industry as a possible career direction. Participants are taught the fundamentals of materials, equipment, preparing the surface, and techniques, such as sponging, ragging, and stripping. Upon completion of the course, each participant will have professional sample boards for use as a reference or as a basis for a portfolio for potential clients. There will be a small fee for materials.
