Description:
A field experience provides students with the opportunity for hands-on experience in a professional museum. Placement will be designed to meet each student's interest in the museum field. Museum projects will be documented with a journal, written report, or photographic report. Because experience is highly valued in museum work, students are strongly encouraged to pursue additional opportunities such as a second field experience or volunteer work in a museum. Prerequisites: Introductions to Museums (ARTG 156) and Gallery Exhibition Skills I (ARTG 153) or Permission of Instructor
