A concentrated study of the design and application of stage makeup, mask work, stage combat and stage dialects as they contribute to characterization and motivation in performance work. The course includes fencing techniques for dramatization as part of the physical stage combat study. Students assemble an audition piece and a professional resume, as well as perform and film an audition video tape in the G.C.C. Educational Technology Support Center.
