Description:
An introduction to beginner and intermediate cross-country skiing skills and ski touring. The course promotes an understanding of introductory cross-country skiing lessons so students can develop their own programs. Students develop personal technical skills, technical knowledge, and instructional abilities. This course meets the Professional Ski Instructors of America requirements for instructor certification programs. Students must demonstrate specific competencies to obtain instructor certifications. Students participate in field trips. (Offered: Every Spring) Prereq: OLP participants only; successful completion of OLP 111 and OLP 120
