Provides a correlation between nursing theory and clinical practice by applying the concepts set forth in the curriculum framework. Focuses on mental health nursing principles in the formulation of a therapeutic approach to client care. Using the nursing process, the nurse facilitates and establishes a plan of care based on an understanding of the individual, group and society.
