A continuation of NUR 201 with an additional focus on developing time management and leadership skills. The course emphasizes honing the prioritization of individual client needs, and the incorporation of delegation, supervision and client advocacy into the professional nurse role. The course expands the teaching role of nurses to provide health promotion education to a selected community group. The service learning component focuses on health promotion activities in selected community groups. (Offered: Every Spring) Prereq: NUR 201, NUR 203; ENG 112, 114, or 116 or concurrent enrollment; any course with advising code HC or HL or concurrent enrollment.
