A one-semester course concentrating on a specified topic or period in the humanities (art, dance, geography, history, language, literature, music, philosophy, and theater). Students learn about the disciplines of the humanities that influence and are influenced by culture, and how the interplay of passion and creativity combine to give meaning and identity to perspectives of society.
