Explores creative writing through analysis of the writer's craft. Students focus on one or more creative genres such as drama, poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction. Students engage with literary texts that present diverse worldviews. Students also conduct research and apply critical reading and writing strategies to their own analytical as well as creative work. The course culminates in the production of original creative works. (Offered: Periodically) Prereq: ENG 112, 114, or 116 and ENG 207
