This course allows students to view influences such as race, class, gender and the distribution of wealth and power through the prism of the legal system. Topics may include abortion, domestic violence, racial profiling, hate crimes, the death penalty and white collar crime. (Offered: Every Fall, Every Spring) Prereq: COL 090 and ENG 090 or satisfactory placement test scores.
