Topics include installing Linux as a server, configuring Linux, managing users, the UNIX command line, file systems, security, Internet services (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, POP, SSH), and Intranet services (NFS, DHCP). Students set up, debug, and troubleshoot actual workstation installations. (Offered: Periodically) Prereq: CIS 180 or permission of instructor
