Description:
This course is clinical in nature and consists of one six-week full time rotation following the completion of all didactic course work. The student will be involved in practicing physical therapist assistant skills in health care facilities across the United States. Entails either on-site or phone communication between the clinical instructor, the student & the academic coordinator. The student is given the opportunity to practice advanced applications with indirect supervision on a variety of patients & to develop competence as a full time member of the medical team. Prerequisite: AL 270.
