This lecture lab course is designed to develop the Occupational Therapy Assistant and the Physical Therapist Assistant with the skills to collaborate, develop and implement assessment/treatment techniques for individuals with neurological and/or cardiovascular disorders. This includes specific assessment and treatment techniques for patients in special populations, such as spinal cord injury, pediatrics, amputees, traumatic head injury, cerebrovascular accidents, as well as other neurological or cardiovascular disorders. Prerequisite: AL 167 and BI 255.
