Designed to teach the student techniques for assessing systems in the workplace. The emphasis throughout the course will be on quality enhancement movement. Students will learn to assess & evaluate systems using such techniques as flow charts, cause & effect diagrams, & pareto charts. Students are presented with information on basic program evaluation procedures as well as issues like systems thinking, casual loops, & quality enhancement techniques. Issues of quality leadership & teaming practices will be introduced. Prerequisite: Jr standing & MA 110 or college-level stats course.
