POLYSOMNOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGY CLINICAL PRACTICUM I Co-requisite: PSG 1000, PSG 1000L Prerequisite: Admission into Polysomnography Technology Program An introduction to basic polysomnographic procedures performed in the clinical setting. Students will observe, perform (under supervision), and evaluate basic sleep studies. Students will be required to master the skills of: conducting a sleep history; patient assessment; patient preparation; instrumentation setup, calibration and operation; recording and monitoring procedures during the test; documentation; record keeping; and patient- technologist interactions.
