POLYSOMNOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGY II Corequisite: PSG 1001L, PSG 1800L Prerequisite: PSG 1000, PSG 1000L, PSG 1800L Provides instruction in advanced aspects of polysomnographic technology. This course expands upon the topics covered in Polysomnographic Technology I. Students will become familiar with the skills and knowledge needed to obtain and evaluate high quality sleep recordings. Topics include: sleep scoring and event recognititon, instrumentation setup and calibration, recording and monitoring techniques, documentation, therapeutic interventions, specialty sleep studies and patient- technologist interactions related to polysomnographic technology.
