PARAMEDIC III LABORATORY Corequisites: EMS 2605 and EMS 2668 EMS 2605L is designed to develop a health professional who is capable of providing Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS and ALS) in all aspects of emergency care. During this competency-based lab students will develop, practice and master paramedic skills. Laboratory exercises emphasize obstetrical, and neonatal management, pediatric assessment, pediatric airway management and ventilation, intravenous and intra-osseous therapy, medication administration, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, advanced vascular devices used in home health and assessment based management and operations. This course includes Modules 6, and 7 of the DOT National Standard Curriculum for Paramedic Programs (Special Fee: $60.00)
