PRINCIPLES OF ECONOMICS-MACRO Emphasis on study of macroeconomics: national income accounting, consumption, saving and investment, government spending in economic activity, influence of government money and banking, problems of inflation and unemployment, international trade and its impact on domestic economic activity. For prospective economics majors and students with interests in specialized business curricula, completion of full Principles of Economics sequence (ECO 2013 and ECO 2023) is highly recommended.
